The importance of probiotics for the human body is well known – since the introduction of refrigeration, the consumption of fermented foods has decreased, and people often do not obtain sufficient nutrients for maintaining a healthy gut microflora from their daily diet. About 70% of the body’s immune cells are located in the intestines. Probiotics, the beneficial bacteria living in the gut, help support the function of these vital immune cells.

In Dr. OHHIRA probiotics, the lactic acid bacteria are neither frozen nor otherwise processed. Dr. Ohhira probiotics are a combination of probiotics (lactic acid bacteria) and prebiotics, and are a 100% natural food supplement. They contain no chemicals or artificial additives such as preservatives, colorants, or flavorings, and are free from chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and GMOs.

Suitability

Dr. OHHIRA probiotics are suitable for people of all ages as well as for pets.

  • Adults and children are recommended to take 1–2 capsules daily, 40 minutes before or 2 hours after meals with water.

  • For children under 3 years of age, it is recommended to squeeze the contents out of the capsule (due to choking hazard).

Beneficial synergy with ME-3 capsules
These probiotics complement ME-3 probiotics, as they contain different bacterial strains and have different effects. It is recommended to use them alternately every couple of months: one month ME-3, then Dr. OHHIRA, then ME-3 again.
