Sunberry has been specifically designed to help skin tackle the challenges of UV exposure. Whilst the serum is not intended to be used in place of SPF cream, Sunberry does make the perfect companion for such products, and can also aid the skin when not using SPF cream during mild sun exposure.

Usage

Use Sunberry as your daily serum, applying it gently to damp skin before your day cream.

For oily or combination skin types, Sunberry alone may be all you need – skip the day cream and let its nourishing formula shine on its own.

Tips!

• Before any sun exposure, ensure you are sufficiently hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids and that your skin is optimally moisturised. Studies have shown that bodily hydration helps skin resist burning for longer, and aids regeneration after UV damage.
• Try combining your favourite LUMI serum and cream into a skin smoothie! By doing so, you can create the perfect consistency for the individual needs of your skin, as well as increasing the amount of product absorbed by skin. It’s a win-win!

FAQ

Some product remains on the walls of the bottle. What should I do?

To reduce plastic waste, we’ve chosen to package Sunberry in glass jars – an eco-friendly option for products with suitable shelf lives. Unlike vacuum pump bottles, however, a small amount of product may remain on the inner walls. To make the most of every last drop, we recommend using the wooden spatula included with the serum to gently gather the remaining product from the jar.

Does Sunberry provide sun protection?

Not in the conventional sense. As a 100% natural product, Sunberry does not contain added SPF ingredients like those found in laboratory-formulated sunscreens.

Natural oils, such as raspberry seed oil, can offer some degree of sun protection, but their potency may vary due to growing conditions and harvest variability.

While Sunberry is not designed as a traditional sunscreen with chemical or physical blockers, it offers a gentler, plant-based alternative for those seeking daily protection without synthetic filters. In milder climates like Estonia, it serves well as a natural, nourishing shield – ideal for daily use both before and after sun exposure.

Every ingredient in Sunberry has been carefully selected for its purpose – no unnecessary fillers, just pure skin-supporting botanicals.

• Raspberry seed oil provides natural UVA and UVB protection, though not strong enough for prolonged, intense sun exposure. It’s a gentle, plant-based alternative for those looking to avoid synthetic sunscreens.

• Milk thistle oil defends against oxidative stress from environmental factors like UV rays, and helps slow down glycation—the cellular aging process.

• Squalane, a key component of the skin’s lipid barrier, locks in moisture and fortifies the skin’s resilience.

If you decide to take a break from using our products, store in the refrigerator to slightly extend their life. As with all natural ingredients, however – the fresher, the better!
