Oily skin

Oily skin is often recognised by a noticeable shine and a thin layer of sebum that can make pores appear more prominent, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin). This excess oil can lead to breakouts if not properly managed. However, oily skin can be deceptive – it may actually be a response to underlying dehydration. When moisture is lacking, the skin often compensates by producing even more oil as a form of protection. Understanding this balance is key!
